Easter Every Day
Because Jesus was raised from the dead, we’ve been given a brand-new life and have everything to live for, including a future in heaven - and the future starts now! God is keeping careful watch over us and the future. The Day is coming when you’ll have it all - life healed and whole.

This is Morgan.
If you looked up the word “joy” in the dictionary, you’d fine her picture.
Morgan and her little sister come to church every Sunday with their Grandma and Grandpa. She loves to wheel around the atrium of the church greeting people and giving hugs. She loves her pastor. She loves her family. And she LOVES Jesus!
Yesterday, Easter Sunday, I was chatting with a couple of ladies before the service when Morgan wheeled up with a huge smile on her face. She threw her hands in the air with great enthusiasm and proclaimed, “He is risen, girls!”
I had to laugh just a bit. It was so precious.
But Morgan’s voice making that sincere, faith-filled declaration has been ringing in my heart ever since.
He is risen, girls and boys!
Easter hope is about more than heaven, it’s about here and now. Easter power is about more than an empty tomb, it’s about the seemingly impossible circumstances we face today. Easter joy is more than once a year, it is every day!
Where do you need that reminder today? Is there a place in your life that feels lifeless - maybe your job, your marriage, or your ministry? He is risen, girls!
Has your hope has fizzled out? Your joy evaporated? Is peace illusive? He is risen, boys!
Is your body groaning, your heart hurting, your soul weary? He is risen, my friends! He is risen indeed!
One day, the work will be done. One day, Morgan will no longer be bound to her chair. One day, all things will be made new. But until that day, we will live every day in the Easter reality that…
He is risen!
